What changed in the Live Guide

The updated Live Guide brings a tighter, more functional layout to YouTube TV’s mobile apps. Channel icons now sit on the left and the grid shows more programs at once, mirroring the redesign YouTube TV introduced on televisions in 2023.

Where the app still differs

Although the Live Guide is updated, YouTube TV’s overall app UI hasn’t fully adopted YouTube’s newest design language. The Library and Home tabs remain unchanged and the legacy icon set is still in the bottom bar.
