Channel 4 has become the first UK broadcaster to launch a dedicated streaming app for Apple's Vision Pro, offering users an immersive experience with their favourite shows. The app, which can be accessed through the headset, presents content in a "ground-breaking cinema-style" format, overlaying streaming content onto the real world and creating a "full-screen viewing experience."

Viewers can now enjoy shows like *The Great British Bake Off

and *Taskmaster* with enhanced immersion, and the app also supports multi-screen viewing for those who prefer a different format. The app's unique feature allows users to experience a *Taskmaster*-themed environment, transforming their surroundings into a recreation of the popular comedy game show.

The *Taskmaster

environment is part of a growing trend of immersive experiences on the Apple Vision Pro, with other streaming services like Paramount+ and Disney+ offering their own themed environments. Paramount+ boasts a *SpongeBob Squarepants*-inspired setting, while Disney+ users can enjoy an Icelandic virtual escape.

However, the app currently does not offer access to the recently released *Taskmaster

VR experience, which remains exclusive to Steam VR and Meta Quest. Although the VR game has garnered mixed reviews, with many considering it a poor adaptation, the Vision Pro's app offers a more immersive viewing experience for the popular show's fans.
