Beldum's Back! A Guide to Pokemon GO Community Day Classic

Get ready, trainers! Beldum is returning to Pokemon GO for a Community Day Classic event. This guide provides everything you need to know to make the most of this exciting opportunity, including details on the event timings, Field Research tasks, Special Research, and bonus features.

The Beldum Community Day Classic commences on Sunday, 18 August 2024 at 2 PM local time and concludes at 5 PM local time, giving trainers a 3-hour window to catch this Steel-type Pokémon. During this time, Beldum will appear more frequently in the wild, and there's a chance to encounter a Shiny Beldum, Shiny Metang, and Shiny Metagross.

Field Research Tasks:

Throughout the event, trainers can collect Field Research tasks from PokéStops. These tasks are all based around catching Beldum, with a chance of receiving a Shiny Beldum encounter upon completion.

Field Research Task: Catch 3 Beldum

Possible Rewards: Beldum Encounter (Shiny Available), Great Ball ×5, Ultra Ball ×2, Pinap Berry ×2, Stardust ×500

Special Research:

For a fee of £0.79 (or the equivalent in your local currency), you can participate in a special Beldum Community Day Classic research quest. This research consists of 4 steps, each with its own tasks and rewards.

Step One:

Special Research Task: Make 5 Nice Throws, Catch 15 Beldum, Power up Pokémon 10 times.

Rewards: Poke Ball ×15, Beldum Encounter (Shiny Available), Beldum Candy ×20, Stardust ×3000, Beldum Encounter (Shiny Available), Incense ×1

Step Two:

Special Research Task: Transfer 10 Pokémon, Catch 15 Beldum, Evolve 3 Beldum.

Special Research Task: Make 3 Great Curveball Throws, Catch 15 Beldum, Evolve a Metang.

Rewards: Great Ball ×15, Beldum Encounter (Shiny Available), Beldum Candy ×50

Step Four:

Special Research Task: Claim Reward!, Claim Reward!, Claim Reward!

Bonus Features:
