Olympic Lovebirds: Meet Lois Toulson, Jack Laugher's Medal-Winning Partner

Jack Laugher is making a splash in Paris as part of Team GB's diving contingent, but his girlfriend Lois Toulson is already an Olympic medallist.

Just like her partner, Lois is a springboard diver, with a fearless attitude and a passion for the exhilarating world of diving.

Both Lois and Jack hail from Yorkshire, albeit from different parts of the county - Jack from Harrogate and Lois from Huddersfield.

Lois describes herself as an adrenaline junkie, with a natural affinity for the 10m jump, unlike her partner who prefers the 3m platform. Despite her relative youth, Lois made her debut at the Olympic Games, skipping past the World Championships and Commonwealth Games to compete on the biggest stage in sport.

A Career of Success and a Bronze Medal in Paris

Lois's diving career is decorated with numerous titles and medals. She competed in the synchronised 10m platform event at the 2016 Rio Olympics and went on to win bronze in the same event at the Tokyo 2020 Games. In Paris 2024, she secured another bronze medal, alongside Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix, daughter of television personality Fred Sirieix.

Beyond the Olympics, Lois has claimed a silver medal in mixed 10m platform synchro at the 2017 World Aquatics Championships, partnering with Matty Lee, a former teammate of Tom Daley.

A Love Story Born in the Pool

Although the couple joke that they can't remember precisely when they met, they are certain their first date was at a restaurant. Their shared passion for diving has brought them together, with training and competitions serving as the foundation of their relationship.

The diving duo even quarantined together at Jack's family home during the pandemic, strengthening their bond further.

A Lasting Partnership

Jack and Lois have been together for approximately seven years. Despite sometimes competing against each other, the couple frequently share pictures celebrating each other's triumphs.

In 2024, Jack made headlines when he joined the online platform OnlyFans, sharing images of himself. The diving superstar sees the humour in his decision, stating, "Obviously, I've got something people want, and I'll happily cash in on that - I don't care."

With both Lois and Jack at the peak of their diving careers, their love story continues to flourish, a testament to their shared passion and unwavering support for each other.
