Louth's Eve McCrystal Set for Fourth Paralympic Games in Paris
With the Olympic Games in Paris just concluded, the French capital is gearing up for another sporting spectacle: the 2024 Paralympic Games. From 28 August to 8 September, athletes and spectators from across the globe will descend on Paris for this prestigious event.
Among the Irish athletes participating will be Louth's Eve McCrystal, who will be competing in her fourth Paralympic Games. McCrystal acts as the sighted pilot for visually impaired cyclist Katie-George Dunlevy, forming a formidable tandem duo in both road and track events.
McCrystal's cycling achievements are a testament to her dedication and talent. She boasts a remarkable record of success, including:
Gold and Silver medals in the time trial B event and road race respectively at the 2016 Summer Paralympics.

McCrystal and Dunlevy will compete in four events at the Paris Paralympics: two on the track and two on the road.
Their track events will take place at the Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines Velodrome, located 48 kilometres west of Paris. The Irish pair will contest the Womenâs B 1000m Time Trial and the B 3000m Individual Pursuit.
The Road Racing will be held in the town of Clichy-sous-Bois, situated 19 kilometres west of Paris, where McCrystal and Dunlevy will compete in the B Time Trial and the B Road Race.

September 4 (Day 7): Womenâs B Time Trial (Road- Clichy-sous-Bois): 7am-5pm
September 6 (Day 9): Womenâs B Road Race (Road - Clichy-sous-Bois) 8.30am-3.50pm
