Helldivers, prepare to update your arsenal. Arrowhead Game Studios has just announced the next Premium Warbond, 'Python Commandos,' is dropping into Helldivers 2 on December 2. This jungle-themed update is bringing a venomous batch of new weapons, armor, and stratagems that promise to shake up the Galactic War.

Unleash Overwhelming Firepower

The Ministry of Defense has clearly been listening to soldier feedback, as the Python Commandos Warbond is packed with highly-requested hardware. Four new weapon and stratagem options will be available to help you spread Managed Democracy.

New Weapons and Stratagems

  • M-1000 Maxigun: A belt-fed minigun with an enormous ammo capacity, designed to mow down hordes of bugs and bots without pause.
  • AX/FLAM-75 “Guard Dog” Hot Dog: A new variant of the loyal drone companion, this 'Hot Dog' comes equipped with a flamethrower to incinerate your foes before returning to your backpack to refuel.
  • CQC-9 Defoliation Tool: For when the jungle (or the enemy) is too thick, this close-quarters tool ensures nothing stands in your way.
  • AR/GL-21 One-Two: Why choose between a primary and a grenade launcher when you can have both? This heavy-duty combination weapon adds explosive versatility to your primary weapon slot.

Gear Up for the Jungle

To match the ferocious new weaponry, the Python Commandos Warbond includes two new armor sets, both featuring exposed arms and the 'Rock Solid' passive, which makes your Helldiver more resistant to staggering attacks.

Armor and Cosmetics

  • RS-20 Constrictor: A light armor set perfect for agile, bicep-baring soldiers.
  • RS-40 Best of Prey: This heavy armor is patterned after the legendary Helldiver Ronald Mambo, offering a burly physique and maximum protection.

Alongside the armor, you can unlock two new capes, 'Foe Rent Asunder' and 'Mark of the Constrictor,' to complete your look. The Warbond also introduces the 'Front-Leaning Rest Position' emote, allowing you to drop and give ‘em 20 on command. Finally, you can apply the new 'Chameleon Camo' pattern to your Exosuit, Hellpod, and Shuttle for a coordinated squad appearance.

The Python Commandos Premium Warbond will be available in the Acquisitions panel on December 2. Be ready to spend your Super Credits and deliver the venom of Liberty to the enemies of Super Earth.
