Zales Serves Up Tennis-Inspired Jewellery Collection for US Open

Zales, the Signet Jewelers-owned retailer, has teamed up with renowned tennis brand Prince to launch a co-branded jewellery collection in celebration of the US Open. The collection, inspired by the sport's iconic elements, features five distinct styles of necklaces and bracelets, crafted in sterling silver or 14-carat white or yellow gold.

"We collaborated closely with Prince to ensure the pieces we created truly brought the sport to life," explained Angie Kennedy, vice president of innovation at Zales. "It's not just jewellery; we've incorporated elements from both brands, allowing tennis enthusiasts to celebrate their passion in a unique and stylish way. The subtle nods to tennis make the collection stand out."

The collection includes elegant 18-inch Tennis Racquet Pendant Necklaces, stylish seven-inch Tennis Racquet Bracelets, and both necklaces and bracelets adorned with charming embellishments. Prices range from £200 to £6,000, with pieces available for purchase on Zales' website.

To further elevate the partnership, Zales and Prince have collaborated on a co-branded, diamond-encrusted tennis racket. This showpiece, featuring approximately 794 diamonds totalling 205 carats, will be on display at Zales' suite during the US Open. The racket is estimated to be worth £2 million.

This limited-edition collection, like Prince itself, shines both on and off the court, a concept we hold dear at Zales."

Zales is also sponsoring a number of players during the US Open, although the company declined to disclose the list of athletes.

Moreover, creating diamond tennis bands is a fun way to pay tribute to Prince's roots and infuse a touch of tennis flair into everyday wear."
