Worst House on the Street Returns!

Worst House on the Street Returns!

Channel 4's popular fixer-upper show, *Worst House on the Street*, returns for a second series tonight.

The first series, which aired in August 2022, was a hit with viewers, leading to the commission of another six hour-long episodes. This new series begins tonight at 8pm and will air weekly, with the second episode airing next Tuesday, July 23rd.

At the helm of this renovation journey are brother and sister duo, Scarlette and Stuart Douglas.

Who are Scarlette and Stuart Douglas?

Scarlette Douglas is a familiar face on British television. The 37-year-old Londoner is a presenter, singer, dancer, and property expert. She is perhaps best known for her long-standing role as a presenter on Channel 4's *A Place in the Sun

from 2015 to 2022. Since then, she has continued to work in property-related television, presenting shows like *George Clarke's Flipping Fast* and, of course, *Worst House on the Street*.

Outside of the property world, Scarlette has also appeared on reality TV shows like *I'm a Celeb

in 2022, where she finished in 10th place. She's also been a regular guest reporter and presenter on shows like the BBC's *The One Show*, *Points of View*, and Channel 5's *Jeremy Vine*.

Stuart Douglas, 46, is Scarlette's older brother. While Scarlette has built a career in media, Stuart's background is in sports. He began his career playing football, starting his journey in the youth set-up at Luton Town. He went on to make 146 appearances for the club between 1996 and 2002.

After his playing days, Stuart transitioned into physiotherapy, working with various football clubs, including AFC Wimbledon and AFC Bournemouth.

Despite their separate careers, Stuart and Scarlette share a common passion: property. They co-run their own property development and interior design company, Kindred Elite, and have collaborated on several property-related television shows.
