Werewolves Unleash "Die For Us" Amidst Global Chaos

Australian death metal trio WEREWOLVES are known for their ambitious goal: releasing ten albums in ten years. With their fifth album, *Die For Us*, they've not only reached another milestone, but also managed to coincide with, as they put it, "catastrophic global events."

"Think we're bullshitting?" the band asks. "From album to album, we've had Australian bushfires where half the country burnt down, a global pandemic followed swiftly by global insanity, a US coup attempt plus the Ukraine war getting into full swing, then more fires AND floods everywhere."

The release of *Die For Us

on July 12th was met with, as they describe, an "attempted US political assassination and the world’s most hysterical country going even more bananas." Adding to the chaos, the album's release is split into two parts: Bandcamp on July 12th, and everything else on July 19th, including streaming, physical copies, and more.

WEREWOLVES seem to believe the world will continue to spiral into pandemonium. "So no doubt something else equally mental will happen by the end of the week," they state. "Sorry."

This is not the first time WEREWOLVES have been associated with global chaos. Their previous releases have been marked by significant worldwide events. Their dark and brutal sound seems to perfectly mirror the tumultuous times we live in.

While it's unlikely that WEREWOLVES are the actual cause of these events, their timing is certainly impressive. With *Die For Us*, they continue to push the boundaries of metal music and, perhaps unintentionally, provide a soundtrack to the chaos of the world.
