Wembley Countdown: AEW Rampage Taped in Texas Ahead of All In
With the monumental All In event just days away at Wembley Stadium, AEW wrapped up their "Summer Series" in Arlington, Texas, taping the upcoming episode of Rampage, set to air on Friday, 25th August. The show, which was filmed on Thursday, 17th August, served as a final send-off for the company before they jet off to the UK for the historic event.
Tony Khan, AEW CEO, took to the ring alongside Dax Harwood and Dustin Rhodes to thank the Texas fans for their support. The show also saw several matches taped, including a noteworthy appearance by Stardom's Mina Shirakawa. Shirakawa's presence adds intrigue to the AEW Women's World Championship match at All In, where her affections for both contenders, Mariah May and Toni Storm, could play a significant role.
The full results from the Rampage taping, courtesy of PWInsider, are as follows:
The Conglomeration (Kyle OâReilly, Mark Briscoe & Tomohiro Ishii) defeated Brian Cage, The Beast Mortos & Johnny TV
Roderick Strong defeated Fuego Del Sol
Mina Shirakawa defeated Robyn Renegade
Gates of Agony (Bishop Kaun & Toa Liona) defeated The Iron Savages (Boulder & Bronson)
Ross & Marshall Von Erich defeated The Outrunners (Truth Magnum & Turbo Floyd)
This hour-long wrestling spectacle will air on TNT at 10pm Eastern this Friday, providing a final taste of AEW action before the grand All In weekend kicks off. Will you be tuning in to catch the final build-up to history in the making?
