Tom Cruise Cheers on Simone Biles at Paris Olympics

Tom Cruise, the Hollywood A-lister, turned heads at the Bercy Arena in Paris on 28 July, as he watched Simone Biles and the US women's gymnastics team compete in the qualifying round for the 2024 Summer Olympics.

Cruise has been enjoying the Parisian atmosphere since the opening ceremony on the Seine River on 26 July. He was spotted amongst a host of celebrities at the gymnastics qualification round, including Ariana Grande, Nick Jonas, and Anna Wintour.

The actor proved a popular figure among the crowd, posing for selfies with fans from their seats. He also seemed in high spirits as the arena played the iconic *Mission: Impossible

theme song, smiling as he was shown on the jumbotron.

Prior to his Parisian outing, Cruise was in London, enjoying a Bruce Springsteen concert at Wembley Stadium. He had recently spent a significant amount of time in the UK filming the latest *Mission: Impossible

franchise installment.

The 2022 release, *Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning*, proved a box office smash, grossing £172 million at the domestic box office and earning the franchise its first Academy Award nominations.

Cruise's presence at the Olympics adds to the star-studded atmosphere surrounding the US women's gymnastics team. Nick Jonas and Lady Gaga celebrated the team's performance on social media, cheering on Biles and the rest of the squad from the stands.

The women's team will compete in the artistic gymnastics team final on 30 July, also at the Bercy Arena.
