Timberlake Spotted Pumping Iron in Manchester Ahead of Co-op Live Gig?

Pop superstar Justin Timberlake has been rumoured to be spotted working out at a popular Manchester gym this week, as he prepares for his highly anticipated performance at the Co-op Live arena. The former NSYNC heartthrob, known for hits like "SexyBack" and "Rock Your Body", will be taking to the stage on Thursday, 8th August, as part of his "Forget Tomorrow World Tour".

The singer is also set to perform in Birmingham on Wednesday evening, followed by two nights at The O2 in London on 11th and 12th August. These mark the only UK dates on his tour, which kicked off in Vancouver back in April.

The rumour mill started spinning after a post on Instagram, from the account @ancoats_mcr, claimed to show Timberlake at the PureGym in Ancoats. The image, supposedly of the singer, showed a man with distinctive leg tattoos working out on a gym machine. However, many have expressed doubts about the authenticity of the sighting, drawing parallels to a previous stunt involving a look-alike Kate Moss at an Aldi store in Ancoats.

Comments on social media ranged from scepticism to outright disbelief. "Is this an Aldi x Fake Moss stunt again?" one user questioned, while another declared, "Still have trust issues after fake Kate Moss in Aldi though…" Some even expressed disbelief at the prospect of Timberlake frequenting a budget gym, with one user writing, "What the heck. Surely he can afford at least a David Lloyd."

Despite the doubt, some fans seemed to be taking the photo at face value, with one person commenting, "I don’t go gym but wish I did now." Another, tagging a friend, remarked, "another celeb to add to the mix in your gym."

For those attending Timberlake's show at Co-op Live on Thursday, a special late-night train service will be running from Victoria Station to Liverpool Lime Street, arriving at 1:02am. The service has been put in place to accommodate fans travelling back to Liverpool after the gig.

Whether the gym sighting is genuine or a publicity stunt, one thing is certain: Timberlake's appearance at Co-op Live is sure to be a hot ticket, with fans eagerly anticipating a night of music and entertainment from the global pop icon.
