The Repair Shop: Filming Wraps on Series 13, But More Fixes Are on the Way

The Repair Shop's beloved master goldsmith, Richard Talman, has revealed that filming for series 13 has come to an end. Sharing a collection of photos with the production team on Instagram, Talman expressed his gratitude for the "fantastic people" he works with, adding, "What a wonderful season it's been!"

"Well, that's the end of filming series 10 for me!" he wrote in the caption, although the BBC states that the current season is actually the second block of series 13. Despite the numerical discrepancy, fans of the show can rest assured that there are plenty more episodes in the pipeline.

Talman's co-star, Julyan Wallis, commented on the post, "Love you brother. See you next year," hinting at a return for the clockmaker in the future.

In addition to the ongoing series, the team behind The Repair Shop has a spin-off in the works called "The Repair Shop on the Road." This new series takes the team out of their West Sussex barn and onto the road, where they'll be restoring cherished items for individuals across the country.

Fans of the show will be excited to hear that despite the break from filming, there are many more stories to be told. Host Jay Blades, who is currently taking a break from the series, is expected to return in the future, while horologist Steve Fletcher has announced that his son Fred will be making more appearances on the BBC show.

"The Repair Shop" continues to air new episodes on Wednesday evenings at 8pm on BBC One and iPlayer. With a new series in the works and a spin-off show on the horizon, the team at The Repair Shop show no signs of slowing down, continuing to bring joy to viewers through their restoration of treasured items.
