Stephanie Davis' Baby Joy: Wedding Plans on Hold, But a New Arrival is on the Way

Stephanie Davis, the former Coronation Street star, is expecting another baby boy, due in January. The 16-week pregnant actress couldn't be more thrilled about the impending arrival, and her partner, Joe McKalroy, is equally excited.

The couple, who met at a group therapy session, have been open about their journey to parenthood, having faced two years of trying for a baby. The pregnancy came as a welcome surprise after Steph was initially told her hormone levels indicated a high risk of miscarriage.

However, everything is now progressing smoothly, and Steph is looking forward to welcoming her new baby boy into the world. The couple are already planning for a future together, with a wedding on the horizon.

Joe had a romantic proposal planned for their recent family holiday to Majorca, hoping to pop the question with Steph's son, Caben, seven, by their side. However, Steph's intuition spoiled the surprise.

"We're so telepathic, we always say the same things at the same time," Steph revealed in an exclusive chat with OK! magazine. "He said he knew where he wanted to pop the question, and I read his mind. ‘We’ll walk down the pier on holiday and you’ll ask me there,’ I said. I totally ruined it!"

Joe was left gobsmacked by Steph's prediction, admitting he's now keeping his plans under wraps. "That's why I can't say anything to Steph. I need to keep quiet. But wherever we do it - home or abroad - we just want close family and friends. It's all about the people," he said.

For now, the couple are focusing on enjoying the rest of Steph's pregnancy, but with a wedding and a new baby on the horizon, their future is looking bright.

Steph is also considering a return to Coronation Street, where she played Courtney Vance. "I absolutely loved it. Jimmi [Harkishin], who plays Dev, called me the other day - I love Jimmy. I’d love to go back. It’s like the premier league of telly. I’ve got them all on Insta, we chat a lot. So we shall see…" she said.

The actress has also been busy with her music career, recording a new album in Memphis, US. While her musical ambitions are on hold for now, she's eager to get back to it once the baby arrives.

"That's on hold for now, but I'll be going back to it. The album's being finished, it's amazing. It was just a vibe, and I used Aretha Franklin's mic! It was a dream. But right now, Joe and I are focusing on another dream - welcoming our baby boy to the world," Steph said.

It seems Stephanie Davis is embracing the next chapter of her life with open arms, balancing motherhood, love, and her burgeoning career. With a growing family and a bright future ahead, the actress is ready to welcome the new year with open arms.
