The curtain is about to rise on the UK premiere concert of the hit Broadway musical comedy, Something Rotten!, with rehearsal images now released. Taken by renowned photographer Danny Kaan, the images offer a glimpse into the vibrant energy and comedic talent of the cast.

The highly anticipated concert event will take place at the historic Theatre Royal Drury Lane on Monday 5th August and Tuesday 6th August. Leading the cast is Jason Manford as Nick Bottom, alongside Gary Wilmot as the enigmatic Nostradamus. Joining them are Richard Fleeshman as the iconic Shakespeare, Marisha Wallace as the strong-willed Bea, and Evelyn Hoskins as the captivating Portia. Something Rotten! tells the hilarious tale of Renaissance writers Nick and Nigel Bottom, two brothers desperate to find fame and fortune in a world dominated by the literary titan, Shakespeare. Determined to outshine the Bard, they embark on a quest to create the world's first musical, encountering both hilarious setbacks and unexpected alliances along the way.

This witty and engaging musical is the brainchild of Hollywood screenwriters Karey Kirkpatrick (known for films like *Chicken Run

and *James and the Giant Peach*) and John O'Farrell (author of bestselling novels including *The Best a Man Can Get* and *May Contain Nuts*), alongside Grammy Award-winning songwriter Wayne Kirkpatrick (*Change the World* by Eric Clapton). The trio previously collaborated on the stage adaptation of the beloved film *Mrs Doubtfire* for both the West End and Broadway.
