Shavo Odadjian, the bassist of renowned Armenian-American metal band System of a Down, has launched his new musical venture, Seven Hours After Violet. The project, featuring a formidable lineup including Taylor Barber (Left To Suffer), Morgoth (Winds of Plague), Alejandro Aranda (Scarypoolparty), and Josh Johnson (Winds of Plague), has just released the single "Radiance" alongside the announcement of their self-titled debut album, slated for release on 11th October.

"This album is the culmination of years of creative exploration," Odadjian revealed. "With Seven Hours After Violet, I wanted to return to my roots in heavy music but also bring something entirely new to the table." He went on to describe "Radiance" and its predecessor "Paradise" as mere glimpses into the "intensity, musical diversity and emotion" that permeate the upcoming album. The band has expressed their eagerness to share the entire album with fans and to bring these tracks to life on stage at their debut live performance at Mayhem Fest.
