Sabrina Carpenter Announces Glasgow Arena Gig

Chart-topping singer Sabrina Carpenter has announced a Glasgow arena gig as part of her upcoming UK tour next year. The American pop star will perform at the OVO Hydro on March 11, 2025, in support of her highly anticipated sixth album, "Short N' Sweet," set to be released on August 23rd.

This announcement comes hot on the heels of Carpenter's record-breaking success in the UK music scene. She currently holds the top two positions on the UK singles charts with her tracks "Espresso" and "Please Please Please," a feat only achieved by Madonna in 1985 and Ariana Grande in 2019. Carpenter is the first female artist to hold the top two spots for four consecutive weeks.

Carpenter's talent extends beyond her musical prowess, as she is also known for her acting career. She has appeared in several Disney films and TV shows, further solidifying her status as a multi-talented artist.

Earlier this summer, Carpenter received a significant endorsement from pop icon Taylor Swift when she supported her on a series of stadium shows across Latin America and Australia. This experience further propelled her career, bringing her to an even wider audience.

The 25-year-old singer's last visit to Scotland was in 2023, where she performed at the iconic Barrowland venue in Glasgow. The 2025 tour will also include performances in Birmingham, London, and Manchester.

Tickets for the Glasgow show will go on sale next week, giving fans the chance to witness Carpenter's electrifying live performances.
