Ruth Langsford's Return to 'Loose Women'

Following a two-month hiatus, Ruth Langsford is set to return to the popular daytime talk show, "Loose Women", on July 22nd. This comes after her high-profile split from husband Eamonn Holmes.

Sources close to the presenter have confirmed that Langsford, 64, has been significantly impacted by the end of her marriage. Despite this, she is determined to focus on her professional life and has expressed a desire for "business as usual" on her return.

A confidant revealed that Langsford "feels it is time for her to get back to Loose Women" and is eager to return to a job she loves. She is keen to maintain her privacy regarding the divorce, stating she "doesn't want any big news or revelations".

Langsford is expected to be reunited with fellow panellists Coleen Nolan, Brenda Edwards, and Janet Street-Porter.

Meanwhile, Eamonn Holmes has been keeping busy with his role at GB News, steering clear of public discussion about their separation. He recently took on additional responsibilities, presenting a weekend show alongside Anne Diamond.

Despite the emotional toll of the divorce, Holmes is also facing ongoing health issues, including severe back problems. He recently shared an update on social media, revealing that he is able to stand and "aiming to walk next".

It has been reported that a relationship counsellor, Katie Alexander, has been spotted with Holmes on multiple occasions, sparking rumors about their relationship. It is believed that Langsford was unaware of this growing friendship.

Both parties are reportedly aiming to finalize their divorce proceedings in the coming months, although sources suggest there is still work to be done. At a recent awards ceremony, Holmes admitted that "this is not a good time at all" and expressed hope that he and Langsford could remain friends.

"Loose Women" airs weekdays on ITV1 at 12:30pm.
