Ruth Langsford Returns to Loose Women
After a period of absence following her split from husband Eamonn Holmes, Ruth Langsford will be making her return to the ITV daytime show, "Loose Women," on Tuesday.
The former couple shocked fans in May when they announced their separation after 27 years together. Ruth, 64, had stepped away from her role as an anchor on "Loose Women" in April, but is now ready to rejoin her fellow panelists.
While Ruth has been open about her excitement to return to the show, she has made it clear that she will not be discussing her separation with viewers. A source close to the presenter told The Mirror: "It has been a tough few weeks, but now she feels it is time for her to get back to Loose Women. It is a job she loves doing and even though the split has been very tough, life must go on. Just don't expect any big news or revelations about the divorce, she wants to keep that private."
Ruth's return will see her alongside fellow panelists Coleen Nolan, Brenda Edwards and Janet Street-Porter.
The news of Ruth's return comes amid reports that Eamonn has grown close to relationship counsellor Katie Alexander, who he met on Twitter in 2015. Eamonn has been showering Ruth with gifts and gestures of affection since their split, including a Beyonce concert, a Center Parcs trip, and a Manchester United game. He has also allowed Ruth to stay in his luxury apartment, following his move out of the home he shared with her.
The pair, who met in 1997, have remained committed to co-parenting their son, Jack, who was born in 2002. Their relationship has been a long and public one, with the couple often appearing together on various television shows.
While the details of their separation remain private, Ruth's return to "Loose Women" marks a new chapter for the presenter, and fans will be eager to see how she navigates her new life in the public eye.
