Rochelle Humes Apologises for "Sneeze" During Live This Morning Debate

Rochelle Humes, co-host of ITV's This Morning, had a lighthearted moment on Monday while discussing workplace boundaries. The incident occurred during a segment exploring the topic of employers contacting staff outside of working hours.

Guest Ashley James was sharing insights on achieving a healthy work-life balance, drawing comparisons with practices in other countries like Denmark and Holland. As Ashley described the Dutch emphasis on family time after work, Rochelle appeared distracted, causing fellow presenter Joel Dommett to misinterpret her expression.

Ashley, noticing Rochelle's expression, paused and asked: "Are you going to sneeze?". Rochelle, caught attempting to stifle a sneeze, chuckled and replied, "Sorry I'm just holding a sneeze in!" Dommett, mistaking her pre-sneeze face for a reaction to the discussion, joked, "I thought you were welling up!"

Rochelle apologised for the interruption and reassured the guests that she was indeed "passionate" about the topic. Ashley then continued to discuss how other countries maintain a better work-life balance.

This week sees Rochelle and Joel stepping in as hosts for This Morning, while regular presenters Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard enjoy their summer break. The show has seen a series of guest hosts in recent weeks, including Josie Gibson, Craig Doyle, Dermot O'Leary, and Rylan Clarke.

However, viewers appear particularly enamoured with Joel's presence on the programme, with many expressing their desire for him to become a permanent fixture. One viewer commented on Monday: "Good to see Joel Dommett on #ThisMorning I wish he was a main permanent presenter."
