Princess Charlotte's Tennis Promise 🎾

Princess Charlotte, a budding tennis enthusiast, has inspired her mother, the Princess of Wales, to take up the sport. During a visit to Wimbledon, the princess shared that Charlotte had been "practising yesterday" and that tennis was "really great for the youngsters."

The Princess of Wales even revealed that she had been "filling in the leaderboard" with Charlotte during the tournament, adding: "As a family, we play a lot."

This adorable anecdote was shared while the Princess was meeting with wheelchair tennis player Gordon Reid and British tennis star Emma Raducanu, who was knocked out in the fourth round of this year's championships.

Expressing her support for Raducanu, the Princess of Wales told her: “It was so hard to see you go out.”

Raducanu, in turn, shared her excitement about meeting the Princess, calling it "amazing" to have her support and "see her here looking so healthy and happy."

The encounter highlights the Princess of Wales's commitment to encouraging children's involvement in sports. It also reveals a delightful glimpse into the family's shared passion for tennis, inspiring many to get out on the court and perhaps even make a few "pinky promises" of their own.
