Princess Anne Back in Action: William & Kate Show Support

Princess Anne, known for her tireless work ethic, has returned to her royal duties after a horse-related accident in June. The Princess Royal, 73, was hospitalized after sustaining a concussion and minor injuries.

Prince William and Kate Middleton, the Prince and Princess of Wales, shared their support for Princess Anne on their Instagram Stories. They reshared a post from the royal family's official account showing Princess Anne visiting the Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) National Championships at Hartpury University in Gloucestershire.

"Super Trooper! So great to see you back so soon!," the couple wrote, using their initials "W & C x." Their message highlighted Princess Anne's reputation as one of the hardest-working royals, known for undertaking hundreds of engagements annually.

The incident occurred at Princess Anne's country home on June 23rd. While the exact details of the accident remain unknown due to Princess Anne's concussion, it is believed she may have been injured by a horse's head or legs. The Telegraph reported that the royal suffered temporary memory loss related to the incident.

Following a hospitalization at Southmead Hospital, Princess Anne was discharged on June 28th. Her husband, Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence, expressed gratitude to the hospital staff for their care. She subsequently received rehabilitation support at her Gatcombe Park home in Gloucestershire before being cleared by her medical team to resume royal duties.

Prince William has continued his royal engagements, most recently attending the Out-Sourcing Inc. Royal Charity Polo Cup 2024, which benefits charities supported by him and Kate. He is also set to attend the UEFA European Championship final in Germany on July 14th.

While Kate has taken a step back from public appearances after announcing in March that she is undergoing treatment for cancer, she has attended some royal events, including King Charles' birthday parade in June and the men's singles final at Wimbledon on July 14th.

Princess Anne's return to royal duties marks a positive step for the royal family after her recent health setback. The support shown by Prince William and Kate demonstrates the close bond within the royal family and their admiration for Princess Anne's dedication to her public service.
