Pirelli Calendar 2025: Padma Lakshmi and Jodie Turner-Smith Go Bare for Iconic Shoot
The 2025 Pirelli calendar is shaping up to be another dazzling addition to the famed series, and the behind-the-scenes photos are already generating buzz. The iconic Italian brand unveiled a glimpse of the upcoming calendar on social media, revealing the star-studded line-up and the photographer behind the lens.
Among the featured stars, Padma Lakshmi, known for her role as host of "Top Chef" and author of "Easy Exotic," shared her experience on Instagram. Lakshmi, who posed in both a sheer dress and a white ensemble in the ocean, expressed her excitement about participating in the iconic project.
"A while ago, you may remember I went to Miami for a secret project," she wrote. "Well, I can finally reveal that it was to SHOOT THE PIRELLI CALENDAR!!" The 53-year-old model shared that appearing in the calendar had been a "major bucket list item" for her younger self, and she praised the team for making her feel "safe" and "cared for" throughout the shoot.
"Iâm glad I waited until now to do it because I appreciate it so much more," she continued. "Ladies, don't let anyone ever tell you it's too late. Your best life and work could just be ahead of you. Itâs how Iâve been feeling lately and I hope the same for you."
Joining Lakshmi in the 2025 calendar is Jodie Turner-Smith, known for her roles in "Queen & Slim" and "Anne Boleyn." The 29-year-old actress shared a behind-the-scenes peek on Instagram, writing, "A sneak peek into my shoot for the 2025 @pirelli calendar ðð¤ Shot by @ethanjamesgreen. It was an honour to work with you again Ethan! Iâm so proud to be part of this project with you."
Other names confirmed for the calendar include actor John Boyega, "Euphoria" star Hunter Schafer, and "Bridgerton" actress Simone Ashley.
The 2025 Pirelli calendar, known affectionately as "The Cal," was shot by Ethan James Green in Miami during May and June. It follows a long tradition of stunning calendars released annually by the Italian tyre company, which have become sought-after collector's items. Last year's calendar, shot by Prince Gyasi, featured renowned figures such as Naomi Campbell, Idris Elba, and others.
