Peter Andre Slams Troll Over Baby Post Accusation

Peter Andre, the 51-year-old pop star, has hit back at a social media troll who accused him of copying his wife's baby post.

The singer recently shared a sweet snap of himself with his newborn daughter, Arabella, who arrived in April, marking the couple's third child and Andre's sixth child overall. In the image, Andre is seen planting a kiss on his daughter's head, jokingly remarking on her "little triangle" of hair on the back of her head.

"Love her and the little triangle on the back of her head. So much," he wrote alongside the picture.

While many fans gushed over the photo, one user alleged that Andre had simply copied his wife, Emily MacDonagh's, post, which also mentioned the "triangle" of hair.

"Coincidence someone else mentioned her triangle on Emily's post this morning," they wrote.

Undeterred, Andre responded with a playful quip, "We're married so we steal each other's sayings... cute hey?".

Another fan took the opportunity to ask Andre why he chooses not to show his children's faces in photos. "Why do you not [show] the faces of your children?" they inquired.

Andre responded with a lighthearted reply, "Isn't the back of her head cute?".

He and his wife have consistently chosen to shield the faces of their three children, Amelia (10), Theo (7), and Arabella, from the public eye. The decision is a stark contrast to the public profile of Andre's older children, Junior (19) and Princess (17), who he shares with his former wife, Katie Price.

In a 2021 YouTube video, Andre explained that he and Emily made the decision to keep their younger children's identities private to prevent them from being recognised at school.

"So Emily's point is that they weren't born into the media - no one has ever seen their faces so she doesn't really want anyone to see their faces. So when they go to school no one can really recognise them at that," he shared.

In a recent interview with New! Magazine, Andre discussed the challenges of balancing his busy career with his expanding family. He admitted to feeling stretched thin and even apologised to Theo for missing an opportunity to spend time with him.

"One thing that is really important is to treat all the kids equally and sometimes I fail. Just today, I said to Theo, 'I want to apologise to you because yesterday you set up something in the playroom and asked me to go in and I didn't," he explained.

"These things are easy to forget because you are so busy but to them it means the world - I made up for it but that's not the point."

Despite the challenges, Andre expressed gratitude for the opportunity to bond with his youngest daughter after being too busy to do so with his older children.

Speaking to The Sun about Arabella's arrival, he said, "This time we're pretty sure it's going to be our last one. Well, never say never. I'm not 100 per cent, but I'm enjoying having time to bond with her. I've not really had that chance before with the others because of work, so I'm grateful for how this has turned out."
