'Paradise' Love Lost: Kylee Russell Opens Up About Aven Jones Split

Kylee Russell, who found love with Aven Jones on Season 9 of "Bachelor in Paradise", has revealed that their relationship has come to an end. The couple, who seemed to be going strong after filming wrapped, faced a tumultuous journey since then, culminating in a painful separation.

In an emotional interview on the "Bachelor Happy Hour: Golden Hour" podcast, Kylee shared her story with co-hosts Susan Noles and Kathy Swarts. "This information is still very new and raw," she admitted, "It's been a six-month period post-show to unpack and I don't know if I'm even mentally fully settled with it, but I am going to do the best I can today."

She revealed that the relationship dissolved due to Aven's infidelities, which she first disclosed on social media shortly after the finale aired. While she had previously left the door open for reconciliation, Kylee confirmed that the door is now firmly shut.

"The door is closed," she stated, "There is a lock, key, and it's gone forever. That's something I'm still coping with."

Kylee expressed the pain of her first real heartbreak, describing Aven as her first love. "I wish I could close my eyes and blink to a couple of months from now because I want to be a bit more healed already," she shared. "I am tired of being sad, but I know that just takes time. This is my first ever heartbreak. I've never been in love before and hadn't had a real relationship."

Despite the challenges, Kylee shared that she and Aven attempted to rebuild their relationship. Aven initially made efforts to heal and sought therapy, but Kylee acknowledged that she needed time to rebuild trust. While they faced uncertainty, they seemed to have made progress, with Kylee expressing hope for their future just a month ago.

However, the relationship ultimately faltered. Kylee revealed that Aven decided to end things, citing his own doubts and the damage caused by his past actions. He felt that she deserved someone who was fully committed.

While acknowledging the pain, Kylee expressed a lack of anger towards Aven. "I don't have any hate in my heart toward him," she said. "I know he's a good person and I know he wants to be a good person. He will be that person for someone else, just not me. I wish him nothing but the best."

Looking to the future, Kylee shared her desire to focus on her healing journey. She also revealed her openness to returning to "Bachelor in Paradise", saying she would embrace another chance to find love on the show.

As Kylee navigates her emotional recovery, she reminds viewers that even amidst heartache, there is hope for a brighter tomorrow. Her story serves as a poignant reminder that love can be both beautiful and challenging, and that healing takes time.
