Odyssey Jones Impresses Booker T: A "Throwback" Powerhouse on Raw

Booker T, the legendary WWE Hall of Famer, has heaped praise on Odyssey Jones, a rising star making waves on Monday Night Raw.

Jones, who joined the main roster in the 2023 draft, recently made a significant impact by stepping in to assist The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) against The Final Testament. His impressive display of power saw him swiftly take down Karrion Kross and deliver a double slam to members of AOP.

During his "Hall of Fame" podcast, Booker T expressed his enthusiasm for Jones, stating that he was "all in" on the up-and-coming wrestler:

"That impressed the hell out of me," Booker T said, "just his energy impressed the hell out of me. Of course, his size is one thing, he's a throwback. Does he fit in The New Day? I think so. I think he fits very well. I think he'd be a great addition since Big E hasn't been able to come back."

He continued, "We don't know when Big E is gonna come back. It would be a great angle [if Big E returns]. I'm all in on Odyssey Jones. I saw him do a little bit of work in NXT before he got called up, but he got called up like two years almost, when I first got in NXT seriously. It's the first time I've seen him, so big up to Odyssey Jones, shaking up the world, man."

While Jones has garnered attention for his impressive debut on Raw, Booker T has also addressed the buzz surrounding another wrestler, Joe Hendry.

Hendry, known for his entertaining antics and charisma, has been making appearances on NXT, delighting fans across the globe. Despite the overwhelming support from audiences in London, Paris, Tokyo, and beyond, the NXT announcer has seemed less than impressed with Hendry's performances.

On his podcast, Booker T was asked about his thoughts on Hendry, and the wrestling veteran addressed the debate once and for all: "I believe in Joe Hendry," Booker T declared, leaving no room for doubt about his stance on the NXT star.

With Booker T's seal of approval, it appears both Odyssey Jones and Joe Hendry have bright futures ahead of them in the world of professional wrestling.
