Oasis Reunion: Who's Joining Liam and Noel on Stage in 2025?

As the highly anticipated Oasis reunion tour draws nearer, speculation mounts over the line-up for the much-awaited "Live '25" shows. Fans eagerly await confirmation of who will be joining brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher on stage next summer, with a range of possibilities emerging from the band's rich history.

Throughout their pre-reunion era (a peculiar phrase to utter), from 1991 to 2009, the band's line-up underwent several changes, with the core members always being Liam on vocals and Noel on guitar and vocals.

Paul "Bonehead" Arthurs, a founding member and guitarist from the pre-Oasis band The Rain, played a pivotal role in the Mancunian group's rise to global stardom. Bonehead departed Oasis in 1999 but returned to play with Liam Gallagher in 2013 when Beady Eye's guitarist Gem Archer sustained a hand injury. This reunion led to Bonehead becoming part of Liam's solo band, performing live at Manchester's Ritz in 2017 and continuing to join him on stage as recently as summer 2024. Many hope he will be part of the "Live '25" shows, but only time will tell!

A persistent rumour suggests the live band for the 2025 shows will be Liam, Noel, and the latter's High Flying Birds line-up, featuring Gem Archer (guitar), Russell Pritchard (bass), Mike Rowe (keyboards), Chris Sharrock (drums), and Jessica Greenfield (keyboards, percussion, and backing vocals). However, this remains unconfirmed.

So, who else might join Liam and Noel on stage across Cardiff, Manchester, Edinburgh, London, and Dublin next summer?

Oasis Mark 2 (1995-1999):

album in 1997.

Liam Gallagher (vocals)

Noel Gallagher (guitar/vocals)

Gem Archer (guitar)

Andy Bell (bass)

Alan White (drums)

Bonehead and Guigsy departed in 1999, paving the way for Gem Archer and Andy Bell to join the band. This line-up is featured on the live album *Familiar To Millions

and the 2002 album *Heathen Chemistry*.

Oasis Mark 4 (2004-2008):

Liam Gallagher (vocals)

Alan White left the band in 2004, leaving a quartet of Liam and Noel Gallagher, Gem Archer, and Andy Bell. Zak Starkey, son of Ringo Starr, played on the 2005 album *Don't Believe The Truth

and subsequent live shows but was not considered an official member. Chris Sharrock, a former La's drummer, took over live dates following Starkey's departure. Neither Sharrock nor Starkey were official members, leaving Oasis as a foursome when the band split in 2009.

Other Potential Members for the 2025 Reunion:

Liam Gallagher's post-Oasis band, Beady Eye, comprised Gem Archer, Andy Bell, and Chris Sharrock. For their second album, *B.E.*, Jeff Wooton joined as bassist. Liam's solo touring band includes Drew McConnell (bass), Jay Mehler (guitar), Dan McDougall (drums), Christian Madden (keyboards), and of course, Bonehead.

Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds features Chris Sharrock on drums, long-time Oasis keyboardist Mike Rowe, former Zutons bassist Russell Pritchard, and Jessica Greenfield on backing vocals, percussion, and keyboards.

It's worth noting Charlotte Marionneau from the French band Le Volume Courbe, who appeared on Noel's albums *Who Built The Moon

and *Council Skies* and performed "scissors" on the track "She Taught Me How To Fly."
