Oasis Reunion Tour: Tickets, Dates, and Everything You Need to Know

The Gallagher brothers have finally put their differences aside, announcing a highly anticipated reunion tour under the banner of Oasis Live '25. Fans will have the chance to witness the Britpop legends live across the UK and Ireland this summer, as they perform a series of stadium gigs.

Where and When is Oasis Performing?

The band has revealed a string of dates across the UK and Ireland, with four shows planned for Manchester's Heaton Park and London's Wembley Stadium. Two nights are also scheduled at Edinburgh's Murrayfield Stadium and Cardiff's Principality Stadium, with the tour concluding at Dublin's Croke Park.

The full tour schedule is as follows:

4-5 July: Cardiff, Principality Stadium

11-12, 19-20 July: Manchester, Heaton Park

25-26 July, 2-3 August: London, Wembley Stadium

8-9 August: Edinburgh, Murrayfield Stadium

16-17 August: Dublin, Croke Park

The band has confirmed these dates are their only European performances for next year, but more may be added if the initial gigs sell out. Further dates for their "world tour" are expected to be announced soon.

When Do Tickets Go on Sale?

Tickets for the highly anticipated reunion tour will go on general sale on Saturday, 31 August 2024. The UK shows will see tickets available from 09:00 BST, with Dublin tickets going on sale an hour earlier, at 08:00 BST, on the same day.

Ticket Prices and Availability

While the exact ticket prices remain unconfirmed, a full breakdown, including Platinum and VIP options, will be announced on Thursday, 29 August, two days before tickets go on sale. Fans will be able to purchase a maximum of four tickets each.

Will Oasis Headline Glastonbury?

Prior to the reunion announcement, rumours swirled about a potential Glastonbury headlining slot for Oasis, marking their third appearance on the Pyramid Stage. However, the band has confirmed that their stadium shows will be their "only European shows," effectively ruling out a Glastonbury performance. Furthermore, the Somerset festival was not mentioned in any of the tour's press releases or social media posts.

Despite this confirmation, fans remain hopeful. Oasis's schedule would allow for a Glastonbury appearance, which takes place in late June, prior to their UK tour dates in July. The festival's line-up is yet to be finalised, and surprise appearances are not unheard of.

The Band's Evolution

Oasis was formed in Manchester in 1991, initially consisting of Liam and Noel Gallagher, guitarist Paul "Bonehead" Arthurs, bassist Paul "Guigsy" McGuigan, and drummer Tony McCarroll.

The band's lineup has undergone several changes over the years, with McCarroll being replaced by Andy White in 1995, and Arthurs and McGuigan making way for Gem Archer and Andy Bell in 1999. White departed in 2004, with Zac Starkey and Chris Sharrock taking on drumming duties.

Following the band's final performance at V Festival in 2009, the remaining members, excluding Noel, formed Beady Eye, which disbanded in 2014. While the exact lineup for the reunion tour is not yet confirmed, the focus is expected to be on the Gallagher brothers.

The Reason for the Reunion

The true reason behind the Gallagher brothers' reconciliation remains a mystery, with only those involved in the decision privy to the details.

While the financial benefits of a reunion tour are undeniable, many fans have long believed that a reconciliation between the brothers was unlikely, particularly after Noel declined to join Liam at a Manchester benefit concert following the Ariana Grande bombing.

With the reunion announcement, the speculation surrounding the brothers' relationship, and the band's future, has finally been put to rest. As the band prepares for their much-anticipated return to the stage, fans can expect a summer filled with iconic hits and a glimpse into the future of Oasis.
