NIN x Dr. Martens: Industrial Legends Team Up for 30th Anniversary Collab

Industrial rock icons Nine Inch Nails are once again celebrating their seminal 1994 album, *The Downward Spiral*, with a new collaboration, this time with footwear giants Dr. Martens. This partnership marks the 30th anniversary of the album that cemented NIN's place in music history.

While details are still under wraps, Dr. Martens has teased three "hard-hitting silhouettes" inspired by the album's industrial aesthetics:

The 8-eye 1460 boot: This classic Dr. Martens style will feature a striking black and white design referencing the album's iconic artwork.

The 3-eye 1461 shoe: A sleek, black shoe adorned with a "Crystal Teeth" design, a nod to the album's chilling imagery.

The extra tall 10-eye 1490 boot: Inspired by NIN's intense live performances, where the band often covered themselves in corn flour for a decayed, post-apocalyptic look, this boot promises a bold and edgy aesthetic.

To quench the thirst for more information, NIN's creative director, John Crawford, has announced a Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything) session on Monday, July 15th. This will be the perfect opportunity for fans to get their burning questions about the collaboration answered directly from the source.

"I'm really excited to be talking more about this in the very near future!" John shared. "In fact, I'll be answering questions about the collaboration next Monday, July 15, on Reddit (r/nin)."

This collaboration promises to be a stylish and fitting tribute to *The Downward Spiral*, blending the iconic imagery of the album with the durability and rebellious spirit of Dr. Martens. Stay tuned for more details and be ready to ask your questions on Monday!
