Nightmare Before Christmas Lego Set Haunts Shelves This September

Lego and Disney have announced a large-scale Lego set based on the beloved 1993 film, *The Nightmare Before Christmas*, just in time for the spooky season. The set, launching on 6 September, features three iconic locations from the film – Spiral Hill, Town Hall, and a recreation of the Mayor's two-faced visage.

This intricate 2,193-piece set allows fans to recreate some of the most memorable moments from Tim Burton's stop-motion animated classic. The detailed build comes with eight minifigures, including the Pumpkin King himself, Jack Skellington, his love interest Sally, Santa Claus, and the mischievous Lock, Shock, and Barrel. The set also includes a buildable representation of Jack's loyal spectral companion, Zero.

Images of the assembled set on Lego's website showcase the impressive scale and intricate details. The set's vibrant colours and faithful recreation of the film's aesthetic will undoubtedly be a visual treat for fans.

However, the set comes with a rather hefty price tag: £170. While the build and minifigures are undoubtedly appealing, some might find this price point a bit steep. Lego could have included a few additional elements, like the imposing Oogie Boogie character or additional scenes from the film, to justify the cost.

Despite the price point, the Lego *Nightmare Before Christmas

set is sure to be a popular purchase for fans of the film. Those who are keen on adding this Halloween-themed build to their collection may want to wait for a sale, but for die-hard fans, the set's detailed construction and impressive minifigure selection will make it a welcome addition to their Lego shelf.
