Nicole Scherzinger: Red Hot in NYC, Teases Pussycat Dolls Reunion & Broadway Debut

Nicole Scherzinger, the pop star known for her time with the Pussycat Dolls, was spotted looking radiant in a vibrant red dress while out and about in New York City on Friday. She wore her long hair in soft waves and paired the flirty outfit with nude heels, her toned figure on full display. As she strolled through the Big Apple, she stopped to wave to cameras and pose for pictures, radiating confidence and charisma.

While her current look was certainly eye-catching, Scherzinger's recent interview shed light on her exciting upcoming projects and sparked renewed interest in a possible Pussycat Dolls reunion. In a conversation with the Daily Mail, she addressed the ongoing lawsuit filed by the group's founder, Robin Antin, and her feelings about the iconic girl group.

"I love my Dolls," she shared, "I love the Pussycat Dolls. So, I always say never say never." This statement ignited hopes of a reunion, especially considering the group's planned tour in 2020 was thwarted by the Covid-19 pandemic.

"I'm obviously in a different place in my life right now," Scherzinger acknowledged, "but you never know what the future holds." She also confirmed that she remains in contact with her former bandmates and is proud of their individual success: "I'm really happy for the girls," she said. "I see them, I love keeping up with them on their Instagram's and everybody is just thriving and looking good while they're doing it!"

While the legal battle with Antin continues, Scherzinger has continued to focus on her solo career. She revealed that she's currently working on new music: "I'm always working on music, so I can't wait to be able to share some of the new musical projects that I'm working on in the future. But that time will come. One thing at a time everything in its own time," she told the Daily Mail.

In addition to new music, Scherzinger is set to make her Broadway debut this fall. She will portray Norma Desmond in the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical "Sunset Boulevard," a role that will see her taking on a demanding and complex character.

"It's crazy, I've done the West End twice and I've never gone to Broadway," she shared with excitement. "This is my very first time, I'm making my debut as Norma Desmond in Sunset Boulevard, the beautiful Andrew Lloyd Webber musical with my brilliant director Jamie Lloyd."

Scherzinger expressed immense excitement about this opportunity: "I've always dreamed as a little girl of going to the theatre and now I'm doing it as Norma and all the stars have aligned," she said. "I couldn't have imagined a better time and a better role and a better everything. So, I'm feeling really blessed and excited."

She acknowledged the demanding nature of the role: "It's an extremely demanding role. Anyone who knows Sunset Boulevard knows the role of Norma. I lay it out there, all on the line and I leave it all out there every single performance, but it's a blessing because it's what I love. For me, I always say you have to do everything a hundred and ten percent. Every time you have to make it count. Otherwise, what are you doing?"

Scherzinger's journey from pop star to Broadway star is testament to her talent and dedication. With exciting new projects on the horizon and a continued passion for music, Nicole Scherzinger is poised for an even more dynamic future.
