NewJeans Hits Spotify Milestones with Global Chart-Topping Hits

NewJeans continues to dominate the music scene, racking up impressive milestones on Spotify with their chart-topping hits. As of July 30th, their single 'OMG' has surpassed 700 million streams, marking the first time a NewJeans track has achieved this feat. Meanwhile, 'Attention,' from their debut album *New Jeans*, has crossed 400 million streams, making it the group's fifth track to reach this milestone.

Both songs have enjoyed global chart success since their release. 'OMG,' released in early January 2023 alongside 'Ditto,' not only topped Korean charts but also landed NewJeans on the US Billboard Hot 100 within six months of their debut. It has since been hailed as one of 2023's best songs by major outlets like Consequence and the Associated Press.

'Attention,' released in August 2022, also made a strong international impact, solidifying NewJeans' global presence. Both tracks continue to hold strong positions on charts across Korea, Japan, and beyond.

NewJeans currently boasts 12 tracks with over 100 million streams each on Spotify. 'OMG' leads the pack with over 700 million streams, followed by 'Ditto' with over 600 million, and both 'Super Shy' and 'Hype Boy' exceeding 500 million. 'Attention' stands at over 400 million. Other notable tracks include 'New Jeans,' 'ETA,' and 'Cookie' with over 200 million streams each, and 'Hurt,' 'Cool With You,' 'ASAP,' and 'Get Up' surpassing 100 million. In total, their songs are approaching 4.8 billion cumulative streams on Spotify.

NewJeans' latest releases, including the double single 'How Sweet' and their Japanese debut single 'Supernatural,' are also climbing charts. The group will be performing at halftime during the '2024 Coupang Play Series' match between Bayern Munich and Tottenham on August 3rd at 8 PM at Seoul World Cup Stadium.
