Morning Show's Emmy Nominations: Jennifer Aniston Celebrates with Behind-the-Scenes Photos

Jennifer Aniston was overjoyed on Thursday as she shared behind-the-scenes photos from the set of "The Morning Show" to celebrate the series' impressive Emmy nominations.

The day after the nominations were announced, Aniston took to Instagram, posting a photo of herself and co-star Reese Witherspoon in costume. The two actresses, who play rival news anchors on the show, are now also rivals for the Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series, having both received nominations.

Apple TV+, the streaming platform that hosts "The Morning Show," also celebrated the show's 16 nominations - the most for the streamer this year - with a photo of Aniston and Witherspoon alongside several producers. The caption read: "Sweet 16 (Emmy nominations)."

Aniston echoed this sentiment in her own post, captioning the photos, "Happy Sweet 16 indeed! I’m so honored and so proud of our show and all of our wildly talented actors, directors and crew!" She also tagged the Television Academy, the organization that presents the Emmys, and her show's Instagram account.

In the photos, Aniston and Witherspoon both looked stylish in all-black ensembles. Aniston sported a sleeveless floral lace top paired with black slacks, while Witherspoon opted for a black satin blouse, matching mini skirt, and suit jacket.

Aniston also highlighted her other high-profile co-stars, many of whom received Emmy nominations. She included a photo of Jon Hamm, nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series, on an on-set monitor during a scene with Aniston.

Mark Duplass, also nominated in the Supporting Actor category, was featured in a photo with Aniston at a diner. Another photo showed Duplass on an airplane set, suggesting a scene filmed with multiple cameras.

Billy Crudup was also nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actor, while Nicole Beharie, Greta Lee (star of "Past Lives"), Karen Pittman, and Holland Taylor received nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actress. Marcia Gay Harden rounded out the acting nominations with a nod for her performance as a guest actress on the show.

Aniston concluded her celebratory post with a series of photos from the set, showcasing behind-the-scenes moments. These included a still from the show of Aniston sitting on a bed with a laptop, a photo of her chatting with a producer on the same bed, but without the moody lighting, and a final image of Aniston lying on the floor with her fluffy white dog, Clydeo.
