MJF: "Shane McMahon's Mental Health Would Suffer" in AEW Match

Former AEW World Champion Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF) has declared that a potential match or promo segment with Shane McMahon would be "bad for Shane McMahon's mental health". Despite this, MJF readily admitted he'd relish the opportunity, claiming he'd have the "time of his life".

Speculation has been rife about McMahon's potential arrival in AEW, with recent reports revealing he met with AEW CEO Tony Khan to discuss future possibilities. In an interview with Cultaholic Wrestling, MJF addressed the potential clash, stating: "I think it would be bad for Shane McMahon’s mental health to get in a ring with me, on a microphone or bell to bell. So my answer is yes because I would have the time of my f*cking life. But my answer, also just because I’m so salt of the earth, is I think for the first time in my career I’d feel bad."

MJF also expressed his disdain for the leaked photo of Khan and McMahon together, referring to Khan as a "f*cking mark". He explained his lack of respect for both individuals, highlighting his own position as the highest-paid athlete in AEW, a status he believes is "rightfully so". He did, however, acknowledge Khan's unusually large biceps, comparing them to those of Scott Steiner.

The recent meeting between Khan and McMahon has fuelled speculation about a potential move to AEW for the former WWE executive. However, no official announcement has been made. MJF's comments add another layer of intrigue to the situation, with his brash and outspoken personality potentially leading to a captivating encounter with McMahon, should the latter join AEW.

MJF's comments come amidst ongoing controversy surrounding Vince McMahon and allegations of sexual misconduct. The former WWE Chairman recently stepped down from his role after a Wall Street Journal investigation revealed a number of alleged settlements paid to women who accused him of misconduct.

It remains to be seen whether Shane McMahon will indeed join AEW, and if so, whether a confrontation with MJF would materialise. However, one thing is certain: the potential clash between these two personalities promises to be an explosive and captivating event for wrestling fans worldwide.
