Mammoth Live Unveils New Touring Division with Industry Veterans at the Helm
Mammoth, a leading independent live music entertainment company, has launched a dedicated touring department, bringing on board two highly experienced professionals from the music and touring industry. Rob Owens, appointed President of Global Touring in April 2023, and Angela Brown, who joined the team in September 2023 as President of Global Tour Marketing, will spearhead the new division. With a combined 50 years of experience, Owens and Brown are poised to offer artists a fresh and more advantageous approach to tour partnerships.
Mammoth Touring has a proven track record, having worked with a roster of major artists for 18 years, including Cardi B, Rod Wave, Future, Turnpike Troubadours, KANSAS, Mamamoo, Moneybagg Yo, Chapel Hill, Ms. Lauryn Hill & Fugees, In This Moment, Lil Baby, Tracy Lawrence, and Clay Walker, amongst others. This year has seen particularly noteworthy milestones for the company, with the announcement of their involvement in the production of acclaimed Hip-Hop artist JT's City Cinderella Tour and Jamaican Dancehall legend Buju Banton's US tour.
The leadership of Owens and Brown is integral to the success of the new department. Owens, with over 25 years of experience, brings a wealth of knowledge from across the entertainment and booking industry, having previously worked on shows and tours for artists like Glass Animals, Maggie Rogers, Rufus du Sol, Odesza, and Maren Morris, among others. Brown, a St. Louis native with nearly three decades of marketing experience, is excited about the future of Mammoth's new touring division. Prior to joining Mammoth, Brown held various senior positions at Live Nation, including Vice President of Marketing-Midwest, where she was instrumental in marketing shows for global superstars such as Beyoncé, Billy Joel, Kevin Hart, Luke Bryan, and Janet Jackson.
