MAFS Star Evelyn Ellis to Report from the 2024 Logies Red Carpet

Evelyn Ellis, known for her stint on *Married At First Sight*, is trading her wedding vows for a microphone and will be reporting live from the red carpet at the 2024 TV Week Logie Awards for 9Honey.

The model and former *MAFS

bride will be interviewing stars at The Star in Sydney on Sunday, 18 August, bringing fans all the glitz, glamour, and juicy celebrity gossip from the annual ceremony.

"This is my Olympics," Ellis excitedly told 9Entertainment. "There is no place like the Logies. The energy is palpable, and it's just a room of creative people coming together to celebrate their talents, catch up and have a good time."

Ellis is fully immersed in preparations for the big night, having enlisted the talents of designer Ryan Patros to create her dress.

"Ryan has dressed people like Beyoncé, Khloe Kardashian, Britney Spears… so I get to hear all the stories of the amazing artists and celebrities straight from the horse’s mouth," she revealed.

A seasoned red carpet pro, Ellis has even graced the annual Cannes Film Festival in France. She shared some valuable tips for navigating the red carpet:

"Always wash your hands before you leave the house. You’re going to be rubbing all sorts of lotion and makeup on yourself, and you don’t want to get it on your dress or make your hair oily," Ellis advised.

"The second tip is to get some electrolytes into you. You’re going to be doing makeup and hair for hours, walking a carpet with your heels stabbing you, and then going to an after party. You’ll definitely need the energy."

Her final piece of advice? "Always allow 30 extra minutes. No matter how much you’ve planned ahead, you’re always going to be running late," she laughed.

Australian audiences fell in love with Ellis's quick wit and down-to-earth personality on Season 10 of *MAFS*. While she didn't find romance with on-screen husband Rupert Budgen, she found love months later with fellow groom Duncan James.

The pair announced their relationship in May 2023 and have been inseparable ever since, now living together.
