LEGO Monkey Palace Board Game: Price & Release Date Revealed

LEGO Monkey Palace Board Game: Price & Release Date Revealed

The highly anticipated LEGO Monkey Palace board game, a collaboration between the LEGO Group and Asmodee, has been unveiled, revealing its contents and release date.

Smyths Toys in Germany has shared details of the game, which will feature a total of 231 pieces, including 67 monkey cards, 14 bonus cards, three trophy cards, four game boards, two double-sided floor cards, a sorting insert, a set of instructions and a baseplate. While the game includes only one monkey figure, its significance within the gameplay is likely key to the rules.

The board game, priced at €49.99, promises an engaging and interactive experience. The game's description suggests players will work together to rebuild the LEGO Monkey Palace, building upwards and creating increasingly tall stairs to obtain elements and banana points. The ultimate goal is to impress the monkey and emerge victorious.

This marks the first dedicated LEGO board game since the LEGO Games theme and the limited board game foray within the NINJAGO line in 2020. It's worth noting that the LEGO Group explored tabletop gaming further earlier this year with a module designed to be played alongside the 21348 Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon's Tale set.

LEGO Monkey Palace is set to launch in mid-October, bringing LEGO board games back into the limelight. The game's success will likely influence future LEGO board game releases, and fans can anticipate a potential announcement later this month regarding another board game-related project.
