Leeds United Backs Leeds Pride for 2024

Leeds United Football Club will once again show its support for Leeds Pride, sponsoring the annual city centre event taking place on Sunday, July 21st, 2024. The club will act as an Infrastructure Sponsor for the event, which is now in its 19th year and continues to grow in popularity, attracting over 70,000 attendees in 2023.

Leeds Pride is a vibrant celebration of diversity in the city, offering thousands of LGBTQ+ individuals and their allies the opportunity to participate in a colorful and lively parade through the heart of Leeds. Pride events have become a vital platform for education, promoting awareness of issues related to discrimination and hate crimes while advocating for equality and inclusion. They also serve as a celebration of the achievements and contributions of the LGBTQ+ community.

Leeds United's official LGBTQ+ supporter's group, Marching Out Together, will be leading a Walking Group on Sunday, July 21st. They invite all Leeds United supporters to join them and partake in the celebrations. The group will be distributing Leeds United and Marching Out Together giveaways on the day, and there will be an exciting opportunity to win a signed Leeds United home shirt for the 2024/25 season.

Representatives from Leeds United will be present at the event from 11:30 am, with the parade commencing at 12:00 pm.
