Kravitz and Tatum: Stylish Couple on 'Blink Twice' Press Tour
Zoë Kravitz and Channing Tatum, the engaged couple, turned heads in London during a photocall for Kravitz's directorial debut, "Blink Twice," showcasing both their love and impeccable style.
Kravitz, known for her penchant for Saint Laurent, wore a chic ensemble from the luxury label. A black sheer lace-trimmed tank and matching knee-length skirt formed the core of her look, complemented by sleek slingback pumps, gold jewellery, and small oval-shaped sunglasses. Minimal makeup and a tight chignon bun completed her effortlessly stylish appearance.
Tatum mirrored Kravitz's edgy aesthetic with a black blazer, trousers, a white T-shirt, and loafers, also sporting dark shades. The duo's cohesive yet individualistic styles solidified their status as a stylish couple.
"Blink Twice" sees Kravitz and Tatum collaborate on screen. The film, which Kravitz co-wrote with E.T. Feigenbaum, revolves around a tech billionaire, Slater King (Tatum), who invites a cocktail waitress, Frida (Naomi Ackie), to a luxurious private island getaway. However, the idyllic vacation takes a sinister turn as Frida begins to question her reality amidst a series of strange occurrences.
The trailer hints at a thrilling and unsettling journey: "Wild nights blend into sun-soaked days and everyone's having a great time," the synopsis reads. "No one wants this trip to end, but as strange things start to happen, Frida begins to question her reality. There is something wrong with this place. She'll have to uncover the truth if she wants to make it out of this party alive."
Originally titled "Pussy Island," the psychological thriller marks Kravitz's first foray into directing. In 2022, Kravitz revealed her desire for Tatum to star in the film even before they met. She told WSJ Magazine, "I felt, even from afar, before I knew him, that he was a feminist and that he wasnât afraid of exploring that darkness, because he knows heâs not that."
Kravitz and Tatum's professional collaboration blossomed into a romantic relationship. In January, Tatum expressed his admiration for his now-fiancée on Instagram, praising her directorial debut with the caption, "MISS DIRECTOR LADY HERSELF IN ACTION!! ABSOLUTELY CRUSHING IT. CANâT WAIT FOR YALL TO SEE."
"Blink Twice" is set to hit UK cinemas on 23 August, promising an intriguing blend of suspense and style from the talented duo.
