Journey Scrap UK and Ireland Tour: Fans Left Disappointed

Iconic American rock band Journey has cancelled their entire UK and Ireland tour, leaving fans disappointed. The tour, featuring special guests Cheap Trick, was scheduled for October and November 2024 and would have been Journey's first shows in the region in over a decade.

A brief statement released by the band cited "circumstances beyond their control" as the reason for the cancellation. Ticket holders have received emails confirming the news and outlining the refund process. Refunds will be processed through the original point of purchase.

The 50th Anniversary Freedom Tour was set to kick off at Cardiff Utilita Arena on Wednesday 30th October. The band was then scheduled to perform in Nottingham, Glasgow, Belfast, Dublin, Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, Birmingham, Newcastle and London. The final performance was due to take place at London's The O2 on Sunday 17th November.

Journey last performed in the UK back in May 2013, during their tour supporting their fourteenth studio album, 'Eclipse'.

The cancelled tour dates were:

October 2024
