Jeff Goldblum on Demure, Cutesy, and Mindful Living: "Kaos" Star Reveals All

Jeff Goldblum, the legendary actor known for his charismatic charm, recently appeared on Capital Breakfast to discuss his new series "Kaos," and shared insights into his unique approach to life.

On the day "Kaos" premiered on Netflix in the UK, Goldblum brought his infectious energy to the Capital Breakfast studio, chatting with Will Manning, filling in for Jordan North, Chris Stark, and Sian Welby. The actor, who portrays Zeus in the reimagined Greek mythology series, discussed his pre-filming playlist and revealed his secret to staying "demure, cutesy, and mindful" this summer.

"I'm demure, I'm cutesy, and I'm... that's right, what's the other thing? ...And mindful, I'm all three of those things," he stated, contrasting his character Zeus, whom he described as a "megalomaniac narcissist," with his own demeanour.

Goldblum explained that his band, Jeff Goldblum and The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra, is gearing up to release their fourth album after the new year. "There's some surprise, great singers with us. We're playing live concerts – that's how I'm being demure and mindful and cutesy," he shared.

"And also spreading the word about 'Kaos,' and then I'll be spreading the word about, well, I bet I'll be back here talking about 'Wicked'," he added, demonstrating his mindful approach to promoting his upcoming projects.

"Wicked," set to hit cinemas this November, features Goldblum as The Wizard alongside Ariana Grande as Glinda and Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba.

When it came to having a "BRAT summer," Goldblum was less familiar with the term. He admitted to enjoying the BRAT diet (bananas, rice, applesauce, and toast), which, according to Google AI, is often used to aid digestive issues and has no connection to pop star Charli XCX.

"Kaos" is available to stream on Netflix now.
