"If you’re a creative person, the tragedy is creativity dies with you if you don’t let it out," Curtis stated. "For me, I wake up turned on by creativity every day. There’s not a day in my life where I wake up going, like, 'Ugh.' "

Curtis's passion for her craft is evident in her recent career trajectory. She described embracing a new chapter in her life as a "bitch boss," relishing the control she now exercises over her artistic endeavors.

"I’m now taking all of this great opportunity that has come my way," she explained, highlighting the collaborative opportunities she's secured through her successful film career. "I am now getting to produce things, and then one of these things will end up on a screen, and you will get to see my name, and it will say, 'Produced by Jamie Lee Curtis,' " the "Borderlands" star added.

Curtis's unwavering dedication to creativity extends beyond individual projects. "I’m a creative person, I am constantly creating, and I will create until I die," she affirmed. "I will not end up being one of those people that just drifts away. I’m gonna create until I die, because that is what turns me on every day."

This commitment to her craft is evident in her involvement in several upcoming projects. Curtis is currently working on the highly anticipated sequel to the 2003 film "Freaky Friday," where she will once again star alongside Lindsay Lohan, reprising their iconic mother-daughter roles.

In June, Walt Disney Studios confirmed that filming for the sequel is underway, sharing a photo of Curtis and Lohan on set. Although initially reported as a Disney+ exclusive, "Variety" reported that the film will be released exclusively in cinemas in 2025.
