"He's our cousin," Jackson said, referring to Wonder, as Mills expressed astonishment. "Not a lot of people know that. He's our cousin on my mother's side." To Mills' further surprise, Jackson added that Chapman and Samuel L. Jackson are also cousins, sharing a lineage through her maternal family.
Mills was understandably floored by this revelation. He pressed for confirmation, and Jackson assured him that all three celebrities are indeed cousins. She even lightheartedly joked that despite their shared surname, Samuel L. Jackson is not one of her brothers.
