Hollyoaks: Abe's Past Secrets Threaten Cleo's Happiness

The dramatic twists and turns continue in Hollyoaks as Abe Fielding's past comes back to haunt him, jeopardizing his relationship with Cleo McQueen.

Kitty Draper, still struggling to keep the truth about her father Declan's death under wraps, faces a new threat – the reopening of the missing persons case surrounding her stolen identity. As inconsistencies in her story surface, the truth about Kitty's identity theft is close to being revealed.

Adding to the drama, Kitty discovers that it was Abe who filed the missing persons report. As she delves deeper, she uncovers unanswered messages from him on the real Kitty's phone, leading to a tense confrontation where she demands he leave her alone.

Meanwhile, Cleo, still reeling from the events of the previous week, is not in the mood to celebrate her birthday. Despite her reluctance, Abe persists with his desire for an open relationship, labelling Cleo insecure and manipulative. As John Paul offers his support, Misbah assures Cleo that she is there if she needs to talk.

The McQueen family throws Cleo a surprise party, but Abe is distracted by a startling revelation – Kitty's last name is Draper. He confronts her, demanding to know where the real Kitty is.

Kitty is forced to divulge the truth. She explains that she met the real Kitty at a women's refuge and that she tragically died in a car accident while they were trying to escape. The revelation leaves Abe shaken, as he shares his own past connection with Kitty, admitting he loved her. This leads to a shocking realisation for Kitty – Abe was the man she was running from all those years ago.

Horrified, Kitty rushes to warn Cleo about Abe's dangerous nature, but he overhears their conversation. Cleo spends the night away, and the next day, she confronts Abe, who, in turn, accuses Kitty of lying, using her stolen identity as evidence.

Desperate for support, Kitty seeks help from Diane, who, having learnt about her secret a few weeks ago, refuses to assist her. With mounting pressure, Kitty threatens Abe, declaring that she will take the text messages on the real Kitty's phone to the police if she believes he is harming Cleo.

The question remains: who will Cleo believe, and what drastic steps will Kitty take now?
