Hiroshima Remembered: 79 Years Since the Atomic Bombing

Tuesday 6th August marks the 79th anniversary of the devastating atomic bombing of Hiroshima, Japan. On this day in 1945, during the final stages of World War II, the United States dropped an atomic bomb, code-named "Little Boy," on the Japanese city.
