Helen Flanagan Parties Hard After Revealing "Messy Split" From Footballer Ex
Helen Flanagan looked the picture of a woman having a good time as she left her 34th birthday celebrations in Manchester on Saturday night. The former Coronation Street star had earlier this week marked the occasion with a lavish bash, and she was seen enjoying herself at MNKY HSE over the weekend.
Flanagan, known for her role as Rosie Webster in the popular soap opera, turned heads in a bright pink, ruffled gown, which she held up with one hand as she made her way home. The actress went braless under the daring garment and let her blonde hair flow freely around her shoulders. She completed the look with a pair of high heels and a glamorous makeup look, featuring heavy eyelashes, blusher, and a bold pink lipstick.
The joyful night out comes after Flanagan opened up about her heartbreak following her split from footballer fiancé Scott Sinclair in 2022. The couple share three children â Matilda, nine, Delilah, six, and three-year-old Charlie â and their separation has been a challenging time for Flanagan.
Adding to her struggles, she experienced a terrifying reaction to her ADHD medication that led to psychosis. "I really wasn't very well," she recalled. "Basically, I was struggling with my mental health around December and January, so I took my medication to try to make me feel better, and then unfortunately it just made things worse."
Flanagan's recovery took weeks, forcing her to withdraw from a touring production of Cluedo, which she had hoped would mark her return to the stage. She was eventually replaced by former Coronation Street co-star and Strictly Come Dancing winner Ellie Leach.
However, Flanagan is set to make her comeback on the popular dating show "Celebs Go Dating." Despite her initial excitement, dating agent Anna Williamson revealed that Flanagan came dangerously close to being kicked off the show after breaking one of the agency's rules.
Speaking to The Sun, Williamson said: "Helen, I just love her. What I will say about her though - and I donât want to spoil anything - but Helen has the biggest cliffhanger pivot of a storyline that weâve ever had in Celebs Go Dating history. Helen nearly got thrown out of the agency two weeks ago. She did something huge which goes against all the rules of the agency."
Flanagan's appearance at her birthday celebrations and her upcoming appearance on "Celebs Go Dating" suggest that she is ready to move on from the challenges she has faced.
