Habs Mascot Loses Arm-Wrestling Match, Gets Slammed Through Table

Montreal’s unofficial Habs mascot, METAL!, might want to consider pumping some iron before picking fights with professional wrestlers. After an online feud with TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace, the two met for an arm-wrestling match outside the Bell Centre on Friday, but the event quickly escalated beyond the friendly competition.

The rivalry began online, with METAL! engaging in a heated exchange with Grace. The tension culminated in a real-world showdown, taking place in an outdoor ring. METAL! entered the ring alongside The Personal Concierge, the manager of Ash by Elegance, Grace's opponent at TNA Slammiversary on Saturday at Verdun Auditorium.

Anticipating the confrontation, Grace brought her own muscle to the table - literally. The 234-lb TNA Director of Authority, Santino Marella, stood beside her, ready for any challenge.

After a couple of false starts as METAL! attempted to warm up and prepare his right bicep, the match commenced. Grace proved to be too strong for METAL!, easily winning the arm-wrestling contest.

The situation took a dramatic turn when METAL! demanded a rematch and, in a moment of misplaced aggression, attempted to strike Marella. The Director of Authority, however, swiftly caught the blow and slammed METAL! through a table, sending the mascot crashing to the ground.

The event was officiated by Youppi!, the Montreal Canadiens' official mascot, and hosted by Kevin Raphael. A recap video of the encounter is available online, showcasing the rapid shift from arm-wrestling match to full-blown wrestling brawl.

METAL! may have underestimated the strength and skills of a professional wrestler, but he now has a clear reminder that taking on a World Champion in a physical confrontation requires more than just cheering for your favorite hockey team.
