DWTS Tribute Waltz Earns Emmy Nod

A moving tribute to the late Len Goodman during last season’s *Dancing with the Stars

has earned an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Choreography. The waltz, choreographed by Valentin Chmerkovskiy and his wife Jenna Johnson, paid homage to the beloved judge with a performance of "Moon River" featuring a star-studded lineup of current and former *DWTS* professionals.

The dance, which aired during week five of the show, showcased the talents of Kym Johnson, Anna Trebunskaya, Karina Smirnoff, Edyta Sliwinska, Tony Dovolani, Louis van Amstel, Maks Chmerkovskiy, and Mark Ballas. The heartfelt tribute was a testament to Goodman's enduring legacy and the profound impact he had on the dance community.

The couple's choreography faces stiff competition in the Outstanding Choreography category. Other nominees include Alison Faulk for the "Step In Time" routine from *Dick Van Dyke, 98 Years Of Magic*, Mandy Moore for the "I'm Just Ken" routine from the Oscars, Jamal Sims for the Queen of Wind/Power routine on *RuPaul’s Drag Race*, and Karla Puno Garcia for the opening number and lifetime achievement numbers from the *76th Annual Tony Awards*.
