Doja Cat and Joseph Quinn Fuel Romance Rumours with Public Displays of Affection in London
Pop star Doja Cat and "Stranger Things" actor Joseph Quinn have sparked romance rumours after being spotted engaging in public displays of affection during a recent outing in London.
Photos and videos shared on social media platform Instagram by popular gossip account Deuxmoi captured the pair enjoying a night out at Dingwalls Dancehall in the Camden district. The images show the "Paint the Town Red" singer, sporting her signature platinum blonde buzz cut and a striking blue dress, holding hands with the 30-year-old actor as he affectionately wraps his other arm around her shoulder.
The pair's apparent closeness comes two years after a social media exchange about Quinn sparked a public feud between Doja and Quinn's "Stranger Things" co-star Noah Schnapp.
In July 2022, Doja, via Instagram direct message, asked 17-year-old Schnapp to help her get in touch with Quinn. Schnapp encouraged the singer to slide into Quinn's DMs, but then shared a screenshot of their conversation on his own Instagram story. This move prompted Doja to criticize Schnapp's actions, calling them "socially unaware and whack."
In a subsequent Instagram Live session, Doja acknowledged Schnapp's young age, stating that "when youâre that young, you make mistakes, you do dumb sât." She further explained that "youâre supposed to do stuff like that so that you know not to do it in the future."
Despite acknowledging Schnapp's youth, Doja also criticised him for sharing a private conversation, calling his actions "borderline snake sât." Schnapp later apologised to Doja, and they have reportedly since reconciled.
Doja Cat was previously linked to social media personality J. Cyrus, though the pair never publicly confirmed their relationship. In an interview with Harper's Bazaar in August 2023, Doja spoke about her evolving perspective on love and relationships, stating that she is "in a different place in my life" where she is "very committed and very much in love in a different way than before."
Representatives for both Doja Cat and Joseph Quinn have been contacted for comment on the recent London outing. Whether their public displays of affection signal a blossoming romance remains to be seen, but the pair's latest outing has certainly fuelled speculation amongst fans.
