Death Before Dishonor: ROH Delivers Thrilling Night of Title Matches and High-Flying Action

Ring of Honor's second pay-per-view event of the year, "Death Before Dishonor," took place on Friday, July 26, 2024 in Arlington, Texas. The event, which streamed exclusively on ROH's HonorClub subscription service, featured six title matches, a brutal Texas Death Match, and a showcase of luchador prowess.

The night kicked off with a thrilling Zero Hour pre-show, which saw the debut of the MxM Collection, a dynamic tag team that impressed with their teamwork and stunning poses. They defeated Angelico & Serpentico, catching the eye of Maria Kanellis, who hinted at a potential managerial role for the duo.

The Zero Hour also saw Marina Shafir dominate Angelica Risk, winning via chokehold, and the Infantry secure a victory over Griff Garrison and Anthony Henry in a match marred by Maria Kanellis' interference. Top Flight, meanwhile, showcased their high-flying abilities to overcome the Outrunners.

The main event saw the ROH World Championship and the ROH Women's World Championship both on the line. Mark Briscoe defended his title against Roderick Strong in a hard-hitting match, while Athena faced the challenge of Queen Aminata in a battle of strength and resilience.

The card also included a unique Texas Death Match between Diamante and Leyla Hirsch, guaranteeing a brutal and captivating encounter. The ROH World Tag Team Championship was contested between Matt Taven & Mike Bennett, who retained their titles against Kyle O'Reilly and Tomohiro Ishii in a match full of dramatic twists and turns.
